Faizaan Naseer

Faizaan holds accreditation with the Law Society Immigration and Asylum Accreditation Scheme as a Senior Caseworker (Level 2).

Faizaan graduated from Leeds Beckett University with a LLB Hons degree and undertook his Legal Practice Course at BPP University alongside his Masters in Immigration law.

Faizaan began his career at Batley Law in September 2018, as a casework assistant. Faizaan took well to his role and quickly developed a keen interest in asylum and immigration work. Faizaan passed his Level 2 (Senior Caseworker) exams in September 2019, and now has a full caseload.

Faizaan is due to commence his training contract in October 2020.

Experience

Faizaan specialises in a range of complex and challenging immigration applications and litigation cases. His casework includes, among other areas, complex applications for international protection in the UK, applications for leave to remain and appeals on human rights and/or refugee convention grounds, family reunion, challenges to deportation and applications for judicial review against Home Office decisions.

He deals with cases involving a wide range of complex issues, including international law, refugee law and the European Convention on human rights.

Faizaan has a strong commitment to publicly funded work, having undertaken voluntary work at Citizens Advice Bureau in Wakefield.
